Maple Corner Men Reveal Community Spirit And Much More.
The group formerly known as "The Full Vermonty"---will now be called the Men of Maple Corner. Two weeks ago, we told you about these Calais men who posed for a calendar. It was a take-off on the successful British Film "the Full Monty" where unemployed men got jobs as strippers. But 20th Century Fox got wind of the Calais calendar-- and made a series of demands on the Maple Corner Community Club if they want to use the phrase "the full Vermonty". The club met over the weekend and decided they will avoid the controversy and simply call themselves "the men of maple corner." The calendar is scheduled to come out next month.
