This photo clearly shows how close to the ground, and the people on it, that the pyrotechnics occur. At the very end, a large circle of wood was rocketed up 200 feet into the air, shooting rockets off every which way, and then came tumbling, very much still aflame, onto a house and into the street, scattering onlookers and creating quite a stir. It missed us by about 20 feet, but we saw it coming and were ready to jump if we had to. Very exciting!
